Jharana Jhaveri: Born in Bombay in 1964, she turned out to be a rebel in her own right. A diploma in textile design, an M Phil in Sociology and training in art, cinema n theater couldn’t keep her in the cities. In 1992 she traveled to rural India for the 1st time to de-school herself of many urban myths and to use her skills for social transformation & resistance. Since then she has been making films and involved in media activism. Still considers herself a city bred romantic with a critical eye.

Anurag Singh: Born in Banaras in 1967 to two amazing parents – who now run a wonderful school in rural Madhya Pradesh. His school fees were often paid by the socialist leader Jayprakesh Narayan. He is a self taught camera man, grew up in the tribal belt now part of Chattisgarh near the Birla Paper Mill where he did slide-shows for the mine & factory workers bunking his school and running away from the sarvodary home surroundings. He made his 1st significant film on police-repression in the Narmada valley titled Manibeli in 1991 and since has directed and shot award winning films on some of the most significant issue. He has a heart of gold and an eye for the soul.
